Maverick Director of South India Shankar is going to direct Bollywood record breaking movie “Three Idiots” remake in Telugu and Tamil. For the first time he is doing a direct straight film in Telugu in his 17- yr career. His films in tollywood which were dubbed turned out to be a super hit at box office like Premikudu, Gentlemen, Aparichitudu, Oke Okkadu etc.

As per Sources, Gemini Film Circiut has bought the remake rights of this blockbuster movie. Official Spokesperson of Gemini Film Circiut has confirmed that Shankar is going to direct this blockbuster movie. The buzz is that Mahesh Babu is in consideration for  the role of Aamir Khan in Tollywood  and Surya in Kollywood. Let see how Shankar handles this hilarious movie both in Telugu and Tamil.
