Gadde Sindura’s Killer Completes Shooting

Miss India World Gadde Sindura’s suspense thriller ‘Killer’ directed by Nagesh Naradasi has recently completed shooting with the final song shot at the Ramoji Film City. The film is produced by Kiran on Sri Srinivasa Creations banner.

Speaking about the film, director Nagesh Naradasi said “Killer is a complete female-oriented film based on a real incident. It includes five songs. We are planning to release the music in March and the movie in April.”

Other star cast of the film includes Jeeva, Rami Reddy, Ravi Prakash, Suman Shetty, Nizhalgal Ravi, Tanikella Bharani, Dil Ramesh and Vijay. Cinematography is done by Madhu A Naidu, music is composed by Sai Karthik, art by J P, stunts by Nandu and choreography by Pradeep Anthony.

‘Inkosari’ Releasing Worldwide Tomorrow

‘Inkosari’ starring Raja, Richa Pallod and Manjari Fadnis in the lead roles will be hitting screens worldwide tomorrow (26 February). The film is directed by a debutant director Suman Pathuri and produced by Kalyan Pallau (NRI) under Bay Movies banner.

‘Inkosari’ is based on story where seven friends meet after a long gap of seven years after graduating. Veteran actor Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, who recently played a guest role in ‘Leader’ after a long time, has played a meaty role in the film. Other star cast includes Sandeep, Ravi Varma, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Bhargavi, Saira Bhanu and Sayali Bhagat (in an item song).

Mahesh Shankar (Vennela fame) composed music while lyrics are penned by Vanamali and dialogues by Nagaraju Gandham. Cinematography is done by Ranganath Babu Gogineni, and story and screenplay by Raj DK and Sita Menon.

Lawrence as ‘Super Cowboy’ : Film with 20 Crores

As a reknowned choreographer, successful director, producer and actor, Lawrence Raghava has established himself as a multi-faceted star in the South Indian film industry. He is now coming as a ‘Super Cowboy.’ AGS Entertainments banner is producing the film with a budget of about 20 crores in the direction of Simbhu Devan. Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ramesh and Kalpathi S Ganesh are producers.

Speaking about the film director Simbhu Devan said “Super Cowboy is a comedy, adventure flick based on a story happened in the 18th century. For the first time we are showing Red Indians in completely new look. In this regard, a huge set has been built in Hollywood style in Kerala. This could be said as one of the biggest sets in the Indian film industry. Till now, the film has been shot in Tenkasi, Thada, Madhya Pradesh, Raichoti, Sathanoor, Bangalore, Pune, Nagpur, Palghat, Ambasamudram and Pondicherry. The film was also shot in the Kandhi Canal of Kandhi Kota of the Vijayanagara Empire. We are trying our best to make the film a sensational one without any compromises.”

Padmapriya and Lakshmi Rai are playing heroines in the film. Dialogue king Sai Kumar is doing a special role. Other star cast includes Sandhya, Nazar, Manorama, Senthil, Mouli, Delhi Ganesh and Ramesh Kanna.

Kalyani as Goddess Saraswathi

Actress Kalyani is going to appear in a completely different role soon. In fact, she has not done such a role in her career so far. She will be playing Goddess Saraswathi in Rajendra Prasad and Sivaji starrer ‘Brahmalokam to Yamalokam via Bhoolokam’ directed by Nageswara Rao Gollapati. Bekkem Venugopal and Roopesh D Gohil are producing it under Lucky Media Banner.

‘Magadheera’ on Blu-Ray, First time in India

Geetha Arts, one of the leading production houses since 1972, has not only produced mega blockbusters in Indian languages but also pioneered many innovations. This time, Geetha Arts has joined hands with Balaji Video, the largest home video company, to woo the audiences with a new offering – The all-time blockbuster Magadheera on Blu-Ray.

It includes a bonus disc with additional material. While the DVDs will hit the stands on the 3rd week of March, the Blu-Ray will be available 2 weeks after that. The Blu-Ray discs will be made available outside India for overseas viewers. Incidentally, this is the first time a Telugu movie’s Blu-Ray disc is being released in the Indian market. Blu-Ray disc is the latest storage format which redefines home-viewing besides giving an experience on par with cinemas in picture quality and sound. A generation ahead of DVDs.
– Master (1997) was the first Telugu film to be released on an audio CD, beside the first Telugu film to be released in DTS.

– Johnny (2003) was the first Telugu film to have movie merchandising. Also, the first film in Telugu to have in-film placement and co-branded advertising. It was also the first Telugu film to use sync-sound while filming.
– Jalsa (2008) was the first Telugu film to have a mobile game based on it. Also, the first Telugu film using standees in theaters as a publicity tool.

– On its home production Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan, Geetha Arts also created India’s first PC game, in association with FX Labs.

AVS, Krishnudu, Shradda Arya’s ‘Kothi Mooka’ Begins

Tulasi Poojitha Films, a new production banner is making the film ‘Kothi Mooka’ with Krishnudu and Shradda Arya in the lead roles. Reknowned comedy actor AVS Subramanyam is directing it. Shooting of the film began today (22 February) in Hyderabad.
