Venkatesh’s New Film Chandramukhi-2 Launched

Venkatesh‘s new film Chandramukhi-2 (the sequel to ‘Chandramukhi’) has been launched today. Director Puri Jagannadh clapped for the first scene while Rama Naidu switched on the camera. Many prominent persons from T-Town have attended the opening function.

Chandramukhi-2 is the remake of Kannada blockbuster ‘Apta Rakshaka’ directed by P Vasu who is once again directing the film in Telugu. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.

Ram Charan’s Magadheera as Mannathi Mannan in Tamil

Ram Charan’s ‘Magadheera’ directed by SS Rajamouli is going to be dubbed into Tamil with the title ‘Mannathi Mannan.’ This was the title of MGR”s mega hit released in the year 1960. Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu acquired the dubbing rights.

It is said that a small part of the film, especially comedy track, will be reshot to suit the tastes of Tamil audiences. Another interesting talk about the Tamil version is that Ram Charan will dub in his own voice.

Selvaraghavan to Direct Rana for a Bilingual?

Sumanth, Swathi’s Film Begins

‘Ashta Chemma’ director Mohan Krishna Indraganti’s new film starring Sumanth and Swathi began yesterday (26th April). The film is based on the novel ‘The Men Within’ (first novel on cricket in India) written by Hari Mohan. Ram Mohan, the producer of ‘Ashta Chemma’ is producing the film.

Super Cowboy is coming on May 7

Lawrence Raghavendra’s bilingual ‘Super Cowboy’ directed by Simbhu Devan is scheduled for release on May 7. Filmmakers are planning to release it simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Dammulapati Sreenivasa Rao, owner of Sai Krishna Productions, is presenting it in Telugu.

Paa Cinematographer to Work for Ram Charan’s Next Film

It is known that Mega Super Good Films banner is producing a film with Ram Charan in the direction of Dharani, the director of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bangaram.’ The latest news on the film is that P.C.Sreeram, the award winning cinematographer, who recently worked for Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Paa’, has been roped in to work for the film.

Karthik Sivakumar’s Awara to Release on May 7

‘Awara,’ the Telugu version of Tamil romantic-action entertainer ‘Paiyaa’  starring Karthik Shivakumar and Tamanna Bhatia in the lead roles, is scheduled for release on May 7.
