Shruthi Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan proved herself to be a versatile artist. As an actress, singer and music director, she has already established herself in Indian Cinema. And now, she is making moves to foray into Telugu Cinema. It is said that she has been asked to play the lead role opposite Siddharth in the movie to be directed by K Prakash, son of veteran director K Raghavender Rao.

Acclaimed director, Kala tapasvi K Viswanath is preparing to get back to direction. After “Swarabhishekam,” that was released in 2004, he did not direct any other movie.

One of the main reasons is that he has been busy acting in various films. Now, after a long gap, he is directing a movie in which Allari Naresh will be playing the lead role. C Kousalyendra Rao, who earlier produced “Swarabhishekam,” will be once again producing the movie. “Swara Brahma” Mani Sharma is scoring music.

Prakash Kovelamudi, son of ace director K Raghavendra Rao, is going to direct a fantasy film with Siddharth in the lead. K Raghavendra Rao is producing the film under ABODE (A Bellyful of Dreams Entertainment) banner. The movie is expected to begin from 21 of this month.

Swathi (better known as Colours Swathi) is now a well-known actress not just in Telugu Cinema but also in Tamil. After the success of “Subramaniapuram” (Ananthapuram 1980 in Telugu), she has been flooded with offers in Kollywood.

Recently, she has signed a Tamil movie that will be directed by Selvaraghavan, who directed Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule, 7/G Brundhavan Colony in Telugu. She will be pairing with Vikram in the movie, which is going to be a thriller. Swathi is said to play an important role i.e the role of a village belle in the movie.

Trishna Krishnan (better known as Trisha), who is reckoned among the top actresses of both Tollywood and Kollywood is all set to make her entry into Hindi Cinema through Priyadarsan directed “Khatta Meetha.” She will be pairing with the Akshay Kumar in the movie. The shooting of the movie is expected to begin from October 23 in Panchgani, a hill station near Mumbai.

Priyadharshan, who introduced her to film industry in the year 2002 with the Tamil movie “Leysa Leysa,” is now introducing her to Bollywood. It is said that Priyadharshan, who know the tastes of both South Indian as well as North Indian Audience, is taking utmost care to mould Trisha’s character as per the tastes of Bollywood audience. Added to these, the movie is said to include an introduction song specially for her. Music is scored by Pritam.

Currently, Trisha is working with Venkatesh in “Namo Venkatesa”,  and in a Tamil film “Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya(VTV)” with Simbu. Further, she has plans to work in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi simultaneously.
