Yashosagar (Ullasanga Utsahanga Fame) as Mr Premikudu

Yashosagar, the hero of ‘Ullasanga Utsahanga,’ after a gap of about two years, is going to come as Mr Premikudu. Soundarya Shreyasi ((daughter of Kannada Actress Jayamala) will be playing the lead female role.

Amruth Amarnath Arts banner is producing the film in the direction of N Mano Abhinav. BP Somu is producer.

The film was launched yesterday (23 May) in Hyderabad. Dr D Rama Naidu clapped for the first scene, while Tulasiram switched on the camera. Sukumar directed the first scene. Regular shooting of the film will begin from June 10.

The film banner planned for a couple of films – one with Varun Sandesh and Nani in lead roles in the direction of A Sushant Reddy (debutant), and the other with Nikhil in the direction of B Chinni Krishna (debutant).

Legendary telugu poet Veturi Sundararama Murthy passes away due to cardiac arrest

The legendary telugu poet Veturi Sundararama Murthy has died today due to cardiac arrest.  He was ailing for sometime but today evening due to sudden cardiac arrest he was moved to corporate hospital where he died.

He was born on 29 January 1936, in Kolluru near Tenali located in Guntur district in AP, in a Telugu Brahmin family. He started his career as journalist for prominent magazines like Andhra Patrika and Andhra Prabha before becoming a lyricist. While working as a journalist, Veturi got his first break in movies through Dr.K.Viswanath. Veturi wrote a large variety of songs ranging from classic poetry to the folk and mass ones. He is also the second lyricist from Telugu film industry to win the National Film Award for Best Lyrics for the song Raalipoye puvva neeku ragaalenduke from the Movie Maathrudevobhava.  His love towards telugu made him return the national award as Telugu was not given the status of classic language by the Government of India.

Uday Kiran, Meera Jasmine’s Alladista: Story by Karunanidhi

Uday Kiran, Meera Jasmine starrer ‘Alladista’ is a bilingual (Telugu and Tamil) based on the story written by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. The film is said to be an action-based romantic thriller set in the back drop of a forest.

Real Star Srihari as Bhairava

Visakha Talkies, the film banner that recently produced ‘Dasanna’ with Real Star Srihari is producing another film ‘Bhairava’ with him. Natti Kumar, the owner of Visakha Talkies is producer. The film will be directed by Poluri Srinivas Reddy. He worked as associated director for several films, one of which include ‘Gulabi.’
